二月份船舶銷售量再次下滑

FRP船舶的銷售量在二月持續下滑, 市場整體則是比去年同月下滑了10%.

占全美國67%的市場的28個州, 三月份總共賣出了2,847艘FRP船舶和個人用小船. 去年同期則是3,163艘.

因為海岸防衛隊輸入資料上的延遲, 備案船隻並不包括在內. 也因為這個理由, FRP船舶和個人用小船的銷售量的下滑可能被輕微的誇大. 只有提供每週或每月資訊的州才會被包含在內.

在流行的14呎至30呎這個類型, 與去年同期相較, 今年的二月份下跌了6.9%. 個人用小船則下跌了13.6%.

鋁合金船舶二月份的銷售量上升8%.

依據歷史數據, 二月份的銷售量代表了整年度的船舶零售數量的4%至6%.

Sales of fiberglass boats continued to fall in February, with the overall market declining 10 percent from the same month a year earlier.

A total of 2,847 fiberglass boats and personal watercraft were sold during the month, compared with 3,163 in February 2010 in 28 early reporting states, which represent 67 percent of the national market.

Documented vessels aren't included because of data-entry delays at the Coast Guard. For that reason, percentage declines of all fiberglass boats, including PWC, could be slightly overstated. Only states that provide weekly or monthly information are included.

In the popular 14- to 30-foot category, the decline for the month was 6.9 percent, compared with February 2010. Sales of personal watercraft fell 13.6 percent.

Sales of aluminum boats rose 8 percent for the month.

February historically represents 4 to 6 percent of annual retail boat volume.
